This page is not only dedicated to the notifiable certificates, its also deals with minor work certificates. I’ve included my exam pass certificate to show my customers what permits me to call myself an electrician. This takes form of a pass of the city and guilds 2382-12 certificate. I am a fully qualified electrician and an approved contractor from the Elecsa competent person scheme.
Certificates that I Issue
All my electrical notifiable work comes with a completion certificate and all work has a minimum guarentee for 1 year. As an electrician, I belong to the Elecsa competent contractor scheme. This allows me to notify building control for those jobs that require me to. Elecsa assesses me on a annual basis for my competency. This enables me to be under their scheme and they can be confident that their criteria and standards are met.
I like to keep up to date on the electrical statuary requirements that are documented within the BS761, we are currently on amendment 3, released in January 2015 (Voluntary) but should be enforced in mid 2015. I will start using the amendment 3 guides for my installations to ensure that a smooth transition will be worked in. Also due to the lifetime of a quote (up to 3 months), it means that the work I will be quoting for will still be appropriate by the time of the installation.
My Exam pass certificate
I sat and passed my last exam for BS 7671 17th Edition 2382-12 in August 2013. The certificate is available upon request, but a copy is shown below. I intend to sit the amendment 3 exam when available and intend to install and recommend installations to the new amendment.
